I created this highly detailed fine art panorama by capturing 24 hi-res photos, all with the same focus and exposure settings, with a tripod using a panoramic gimbal head (a specialized multi-axis tripod head) which eliminates parallax shift. This alignment technique allows my panorama stitching software to put together multiple overlapping photos flawlessly. Because of the above mentioned process, along with my custom colour grading techniques this photograph is distinctly unique. 
Massey Hall was a gift to the people of Toronto from industrialist Hart Massey. Massey Hall was designated a National Historic Site of Canada on June 15, 1981. The hall closed in July 2018 for a two-year-long renovation including a new seven-storey addition and two smaller concert rooms. It re-opened in 2021. Photographer Gary Ray Rush anticipated photographing this iconic building after the renovation was complete. Gary photographed sections of the building with a high-res camera, he then merges the photos together into a panorama. The result is a unique perspective and a photograph with an incredible amount of detail.

Photographed as the sun was setting at the Toronto City Hall, or New City Hall, the seat of the municipal government of Toronto, and one of the city's most distinctive landmarks. Designed by Viljo Revell and engineered by Hannskarl Bandel, the building opened in 1965.
